This industrial-inspired Q-series timepiece is an essence tribute to the soundboards and audio equipment that produce music and features a 49.7 x 44.3 mm stainless steel case with squared edges that hold a multi-layered dial under a specially hardened domed mineral crystal. The interesting dial is bordered on by a vertically brushed fixed bezel and features a harmony of different shapes, textures, colors and finishings such as the matte gunmetal gray center with horizontal patterns, white outer minutes track, silver-tone decentralized 12-hour indicator disc at 9 o clock and the additioner principle seconds disc at the 4 o clock mixed with black and white accents. The discs are reminiscent of the wheel of multi-track tape recorders. The large central hand point towards the outer minutes track while the central axle of the 12-hour disc serves as the hour indicator using dual-pointed black accents. A bordered date window is located at the 3 o clock adjacent to the crown. Attached discreetly via the case s integrated lugs is a black leather strap secured by a matching gunmetal PVD-coated steel buckle in its distinct rounded shape. The lugs are also equipped with a Fast Strap Changer (FSC) with quick-release pins and are evident at the left side of the case. This watch also features a screw on caseback inscribed with the model s information spec sheet which encases a Miyota caliber 8219, a Japanese automatic movement that beats 21,600 vibrations per hour generating up to 40 hours of power reserve and embedded with an NFC chip that allows secured product registration and authentication within the SEVENFRIDAY mobile app. This timepiece is splash rain-resistant up to 30 meters 100 feet.
